Warwick Davis, who plays Professor Flitwick in the Harry Potter films, is starring in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, this year’s pantomime at the New Victoria Theatre in Woking. Davis, along with playing Prof, the head of the seven dwarfs, also helped to write and direct the play.

Pantomime’s, a British tradition, usually include over the top costumes and sets as well as music, dance numbers, topical jokes, audience participation and slapstick comedy. They are typically family friendly shows, based on a fairy tale or nursery story and usually produced around Christmas.

Davis’ last performance at the New Victoria Theatre was with his Reduced Height Theatre Company’s production of See How They Run. Davis was excited to return to Woking this season for this new production.

“I am delighted to be coming to Woking this Christmas in the spectacular production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” he said. “I am very proud of the show that we have created and I am lucky enough to be involved with the script and direction of the show. I can guarantee you and the family will have a great time. I’ve heard the Woking audiences are some of the best in the country so I look forward to seeing you all later in the year.”

The show runs from December 10th to January 8th. To get tickets to see Davis in action as Prof, click here.
