A UK fan with no hopes of attending San Diego Comic-Con this weekend? No worries! London Film and Comic-Con will take place next weekend at the Olympia Conference Centre in London, and will host an amazing line-up of guests, including multiple Harry Potter alumni!

Special guests from the Harry Potter films include James & Oliver Phelps (the Weasley twins), John Cleese (Nearly Headless Nick), Zoë Wanamaker (Madam Hooch), Mark Williams (Mr Weasley), David Bradley (Argus Filch), Sean Biggerstaff (Oliver Wood) and Danielle Tabor (Angelina Johnson). Guests at the convention can also have their photos taken with the Ford Anglia (alone or with Mr Weasley himself), and with David Bradley and the Tardis. David Bradley will also attend a ‘Doctors Talk’ on Sunday afternoon on the Second Stage with co-Doctor Sylvester McCoy.

Further guests include Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock, The Hobbit, Doctor Strange), Mads Mikkeson (Rogue One, Doctor Strange), Matt Lucas (Doctor Who, Little Britain), Alan Tudyk (Rogue One, Firefly) Christopher Lloyd and Tom Wilson (Back to the Future), Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones) and Buffy The Vampire Slayer’s Alyson Hannigan, and Alexis Denisof, amongst many other leaders in producing comics and films, as well as a great range of YA authors for the YA Lit Con event happening alongside LFCC.

London Film and Comic-Con will take place from Friday 28th July – Sunday 30th July, get tickets here. Details on photograph and autograph opportunities at the event can be found here, and the schedule (here) and floor-plan (here) have also recently been announced for guests to plan their weekend. Leaky will be attending LFCC, and will hopefully be bringing a host of interviews with special guests for those who can’t attend, so stay tuned for further news!
