The Witching Hour Announces Guests

The Witching Hour, the HPEF-sponsored sequel to Nimbus – 2003 announced some of its keynote speakers, including Holly Black, author of the best-selling Spiderwick Chronicles series, and Director of the MIT Comparative Media Studies Program, Prof. Henry Jenkins. Black will give a speech entitled Moral Twilight: When Absolutes Are Shadowed in Fantasy Literature focusing on morality in young adult fantasy literature, while Jenkins will discuss Harry Potter and the media, including how the Potter phenomenon has influenced our culture.
The Witching Hour will take place on Oct. 6-10, 2005, in Salem, Mass. Check out the Witching Hour site for more info!
