The Detroit News has more details about the Harry Potter toys coming out from Tiger Electronics and Mattel:

Harry Potter IR Magic Wand, Tiger Electronics, $20: To cast a winning spell, you must follow commands to press colored buttons and move the wand different directions without missing a step.

Hogwarts 3-D Game, Mattel (www.mattel.com), $30: This updated version of traditional board games gives Harry Potter fans a chance to attend the Hogwarts School of Wizardry.

The 3-D game has a flat, round playing surface at its base and a tower-like structure that players hop up and around as they collect supplies and learn spells.

And just for fun, the game also emits appropriately eerie lights and sounds.
