Every year, notoriously expensive department store Neiman-Marcus releases a catalogue of fantasy holiday gifts for the person who, quite literally, has it all.  1%ers may actually shop from this catalogue but the rest of us, the other 99% of us, peruse each year’s excessive offerings with a bitter mixture of scorn, derision, and jealousy.  But this year is a little different.  Mixed in with the usual egregious opportunities for conspicuous consumption, like a $7.1M bespoke yacht that sleeps 12 (we assume) very comfortably, is one gift that is magical as well as fantastical: For $300,000, Colleen Atwood, costume designer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them as well as Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, and, we hope, for ensuing Fantastic Beasts films, will design a custom outfit for you.

The $300K price tag includes:

– Lunch for you and a guest with Atwood

– A collaborative design session, measurements, and photo op

– Swag bag containing a signed movie poster, 3 Fantastic Beasts tie-in books, and a collection of wands

– Charitable donations:  $10K out of the purchase price will be donated to The Heart of Neiman-Marcus Foundation, and $10K will go to Lumos, J.K. Rowling’s international children’s charity.

– IF you make this splurge before November 1, you will also get red carpet tickets to either the London or Paris premiere of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

Leaky interviewed Colleen Atwood on the set of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, as well as at the debut of the final trailer in NYC.

If the lucky recipient of this fantastical holiday gift is a Leaky reader, please let us know and send photos!
