The San Francisco Chronicle has an interesting tidbit:
An inside source tells us that Robin Williams will have an uncredited cameo in “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.” He and the film’s director Chris Columbus worked together on “Bicentennial Man” and live near each other in San Francisco. Williams’ last uncredited appearance was as evil incarnate in “The Secret Agent,” adapted from another Conrad novel. Aren’t we literary, dropping his name twice.
Interesting. I wonder if he will play the voice and facial movements of Lord Voldemort on the back of Ian Hart’s (Prof. Quirrell) neck – or perhaps in the flashback scenes? There’s also the possibility that he’d play a Mrs. Doubtfire-like “Madame Poppy Pomfrey.” Williams worked with Harry Potter Director Chris Columbus on that movie as well.
