A smidge more on the Stouffer matter from the Associated Press: Schwartz also questioned whether she created the "Larry Potter" character before Rowling's series debuted. A title page and other materials supposedly dating back to the 1980s used technology not in existence at the time, he ruled.

More on the recent court ruling against Nancy Stouffer from Bloomberg.co.uk:

In his 36-page opinion, [U.S. District Judge Allen G. Schwartz] also ordered Stouffer to stop "making false representations to third parties indicating that she owns all rights in the 'Muggle' and 'Muggles' trademarks and copyrights,"Continued...
