Website Coming Soon is reporting that "Ian McKellen has not been cast as Dumbledore in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and Christopher Lee says he was never even asked." Read more at the link.

The Sun reports that WB is going to announce next week that Sir Ian McKellan is going to play Dumbledore. We're actually not sure how seriously to take this article, as it also says:

The shock casting may put the actor up against himself in both fantasy adventure box office rivals.

The eBay auction of original CoS art has been closed at $20,099 - less than half the reserve of $48,000 (in U.S. dollars). Since the reserve was not met, the seller is not under obligation to accept the bid. Now where were these bidders on December 12?
