Mira Nair to Direct Order of the Phoenix Film?
Director Mira Nair has reportedly been offered the job of directing the film version of Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix. In an interview with the Times of India, she is quoted as saying:

The U.S. paperback version of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is now a number one best-seller book. The paperback, which was released on August 10th, is now number one on both the New York Times Children's Paperback list and the USA Today's Best-Seller list.

Gof Filming Update
CBBC Newsround has posted a story about filming of scenes for the upcoming Goblet of Fire film. At the Bodleian Library at Oxford University, scenes with Mad-Eye Moody(Brendon Gleeson), Professor McGonagall(Dame Maggie Smith) and others including Crabbe( Jamie Waylett) and Goyle( Josh Herdman) are being filmed.

Update: London Symphony Orchestra Cancels U.S. Tour
Earlier we told you about the London Symphony Orchestra touring here in the U.S. with performances including works from the Harry Potter films. The "Music of Hollywood" tour has now been cancelled due to poor ticket sales. Thanks Rachael and Connie.
