On what site would I find the Fanfic by Copperbadge? I searched on a few different sites and cannot find it. I don’t usually read that type of fiction, but will usually read anything that is reccomended. Thank you for your time

i like the idea of a draco/squid ship. _ (i’m a bit addicted to half-serious crackfics. or you could just say i’m addicted to crack, which is more fun. really, i think i’m addicted to maya, who is a little cracky herself. she wrote a veela!harry story that was actually really compelling.)

harry potter ships in general are the most fantastic sort of fun. i like to think of awesome/ridiculous new ones, and see if they exist. apparently, it’s really hard to find augusta longbottom/minerva mcgonagall despite a hint that they were friends in school, but it’s incredibly easy to find albus severus/scorpius (as/s) which started being written only days after book 7 hit the shelves, i’m pretty sure. ships can be challenging and fun to write believably if they’re not canon, and i would almost say that the more unlikely, the better. if you succeed, that is. arguing about them is fun too. i think it’s funny that generally, the most basic way to define a fanfic is its pairings, rather than its situation (like resortings, or post-epilogue, or voldemort-never-existed, etc). this has the effect of making nearly every fic i read a romance (maybe an adventure or something else too, but definitely there’s romance or sexual tension in there), because i’ve been conditioned to filter through stories by pairing rather than the other less easily definable qualities of the fic.

what’s the weirdest ship you’ve ever read in a fic?
