At my grandma’s i have a craft room where i do all my card making. it also houses her computer. she never uses the room. i have card in an organised pile. but that’s where it stops. envelopes, ribbons, outline stickers, toppers, foam glue sticks, magazines, notebooks, stamps…… EVERYWHERE. at home. i kepp all my art stuff in their boxes when not in use. so all my art pastels go back in their boxes. my fabric box is overflowing and breaking. i have a drawer dedicated to large art supplies such as my A3 watercolour paper and 30×30 scrapbook pages. i have to keep my room tidy for the cleaner….otherwise, you’d be wading through sketches, christmas cards and an all manner of other nondescript objects
I have a box to keep crafting supplies in. It is as inefficient as it sounds…with no separation or order to it, it usually lies empty in the space under the eaves. I have a collection of scrap fabric that sits with my summer clothing in the winter, and my winter clothing in the summer. To be quite honest, the only time I know where everything is would be those rare occasions when I pull it all out…and leave it on the dining room table.
My mother always told me that the most creative minds are the most disorganized :)
