December 2009 Craft-Along: Last Minute Harry Potter Gifts
Happy holidays, Crafty Witches and Wizards!

Does the phrase "happy holidays" strike as much fear into you as it does me? Yeah, I thought so. It is creeping up on us and there is only so much time to get our crafty gifts done.

Well, allow the Crafty Witches & Wizard to help you out; this month our craft-along will be focusing on a few small items that should work up quickly enough to wrap up and give to loved ones this season.

For the special witch in your life (ok, or muggle):
Luna Lovegood's Radish Earrings (v4), by Grimsqueaker

Supplies:
Sculpey or another polymer clay in green, purplish-red, and white
A pair of earring wires
Small amount of bendable wire

For your favorite bookworm:

Supplies:
2 skeins of DMC Pearl Cotton in size 5 #815 garnet (MC), or the house color of your choice
1 skein of DMC Pearl Cotton, size 5 #976 gold (CC), or the house color of your choice
Set of 4 US/0 (2.00 mm) DPNs
B/1 (2.25 mm) steel crochet hook
Tapestry needle

A small amount of worsted weight yarn in black or dark brown
