DVD Commentaries

Our second fan commentary, on the Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets DVD, is up!

Film Commentary No. 2: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secerts, with PotterCasters Melissa, John and Sue.

To listen to this commentary, download the files linked below. Have your DVD ready on the “Whomping Willow” menu screen. We will tell you exactly when to hit play. There is NO audio inside the commentary track, so if you would like audio of the film to play at a low level throughout, adjust that volume on your television.

Commentary (NTSC version, good for U.S. residents) – right click and save!
Commentary (PAL version, good for U.K. and Australia residents) – right click and save!

Pausing:

As these are separate video/audio tracks playing simultaneously, pausing will pose a problem. If you pause the video first, and the audio second, unpausing the audio first and video second will probably link you up pretty closely to the earlier synchronization

When the fourth film, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was released to DVD without a much-desired commentary track from the filmmakers, the PotterCast crew thought they’d take matters into their own hands with a film commentary track that turned out like the standard DVD commentary meets Mystery Science Theater. The experience was enjoyable enough for us and for enough listeners that these are going to become common occurrences on Leaky, with different hosts and guests and information revealed in each.

To get these commentaries automatically, subscribe to PotterCast; all the commentaries will be placed on the feed, but also here for your convenience.
