It was reported today that Time Magazine will be featuring a new interview with Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling. In a column for The Boston Globe, the reporter mentions the two mainstream media interviews that JKR will be conducting for the release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, along with the one she will be having with our own Melissa Anelli, and Emerson of MuggleNet.

We've just received an update from NBC letting us know that Katie Couric's interview with Jo Rowling will air on July 17 on Dateline and July 18 on Today. More details about Today's HBP week as we go.

The Sun announced yesterday that its cub reporter contest winner, Sian Brennan, gave her trip to meet with Jo to her sick twin sister, Zoe.

On June 1, Katie Couric announced on "Today" that she'd be interviewing Jo Rowling in two weeks' time and invited fans to submit questions. However, she never said the interview would air in two weeks' time. An air date has never been announced. The Evening News, of Scotland, has opened its contest to choose a reporter to be part of the 70-children contingent that will meet JKR on July 15 and interview her on July 17. Entrants must "prove their knowledge of all things Harry Potter by answering five questions which will appear in the paper over the coming week."
