Alan Rickman, who plays Severus Snape in the HP films, has signed on to play the voice of Marvin in The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, written by Douglas Adams, directed by Garth Jennings, and due out this year. The Hollywood Reporter has a new report about the financial success that Warner Brothers had in 2004, due in part to the Harry Potter films. Some sadly eerie news via the Swedish Rowling Fan Club site – The swedish paper Aftonbladet writes today that they have found pages from the Swedish version of OotP (Harry Potter och Fenixorden) in the ruins after the tsunami struck a hotel in Khao Lak in Thailand.
