A letter to the editor published in today’s Miami Herald announces an event on January 18, 2003 hosted by the Youth Ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Southeast Florida. The event will focus on “activities designed to show that the lessons in Harry Potter books are central to the Christian faith.”

The Official Harry Potter Website has put up a fun new game called “Spider Frenzy” and some more set tours. It also appears as though the WB is using the same kind of game used in the “Find Hedwig” sweepstakes for it’s new movie “Kangaroo Jack.”

From ABC News comes this report that Warner Bros. took top honours in the majors’ overseas box office derby last year, thanks to Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Warner’s international division amassed $1.6 billion — a company record.
