Reader Ryan Posly reports: FYI, The Hollywood Reporter is reporting this morning that the MPAA has given Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone a PG rating “for some scary moments and mild language.” A search in the MPAA Movie Ratings Database confirms this.

Acccording to the Scotsman, Harry Potter will be given a run for his money this holiday season in Scotland when he goes up against the Maisie the Morningside Cat dolls due out soon.

A reminder that the final Harry Potter trailer is due out in September. Amazon.com is now taking pre-orders for the LEGO Creator Harry Potter, which costs $30, is for Windows systems only and will be released to the public on September 22, 2001.
