UK television station Sky Movies is running a new contest for UK residents to appear in one of the two parts of the final Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Part of a WB Harry Potter Tour for the release of the sixth film, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the station is offering tour ticket-holders the chance to answer a question to be given the opportunity to be chosen for a tour of the Harry Potter sets at Leavesden Studios and possibly appear in one of the final films. To enter, UK residents can watch a short video clip and answer the accompanying question.
Those entering must be able to attend the Harry Potter Tour which will make stops across the UK in Edinburgh on June
13th, Manchester (Salford) on June 15th, Birmingham (Maypole) on June
16th, London on June 18th - 19th, and Sydenham on June 22nd. The winner of this contest will be notified on or before August 30, 2009.
As MSN reports, the Harry Potter Tour will be a bus traveling around Europe that features activities such as lessons in spell casting, as well as the chance to view various props and costumes from the film. The full tour schedule can be found via this link.
I have the same question as EmmaCMF, how can i get tickets? I noticed they will be in The Netherlands as well and i would really love to go….. i mean they seem to promote it quite a bit but there’s no ticket info, confusing.
hey the UK get a lot less than america does i mean all the fan site are american everything is in america, us in the UK r lucky dat this is actually happenin lol i mean its a british film yet its so american promoted. no offense meant at all.

Ok, I’m going to Edinburgh next weekend, but there is no info on the msn wedsite. As Emma said, how are we supposed to know how to get a ticket, or where in the city it will be.
