So is this at the end of the opening ceremony, or the end of every day?
:OOOOOOOOOOOOOO I LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@HogwartsForever, it says that it will be played at different venues at the end of the whole GAMES. It’s saying goodbye and encouraging return tourism to London.
What’s unclear here is what they mean by ‘members’: members of Olympic teams only? One would presume that the sponsors want to reach all the crowds as they are preparing to leave a particular venue, once the last competition there has finished.
The article actually says:
‘The five-minute video will be played on screens at a number of venues as spectators leave.’
Don’t know why the word ‘members’ is used on the news post here.
sorry about that. many articles read “members” until it was determined which venues the clip was going to play at, and who was going to see it. The article referenced was just updated!
Ah, that explains it, I thought it was odd! Thanks Puffmione :-)
Moglet, will you be attending any of the events?
would definitely love to see that!
would definitely love to see that!
I think I’ll make sure I watch it!
I need to see London first but do believe that will love it!
As if we need any more inspiration to go to London, I mean, jeez, there’s Platform 9 & 3/4 to visit!
That is so cool!
