Forbes names Hasbro as their “Disaster of the Day” and analysts say that they don’t think the “kids” who read Harry Potter” are the same “kids” who play with toys. Yet the licenses Hasbro has are for Candy (Bertie Botts’ Every-Flavor Beans and allegedly the Chocolate Frogs), Hand-held games from Tiger Electronics, and the trading card game from Wizards of the Coast. While I don’t represent all Harry Potter fans, I’ve certainly bought lots of the candy, plan on getting the electronic spell book, and playing with the trading card game.
