Those hungering for good Harry Potter merchandise should check out Fossil. In addition to the plethora of watches they’ve produced, they also have this gorgeous replica of Dumbledore’s Pocket Watch. It’s $105 but definitely a collectible piece.

For those of you who don’t “get it”, read this:

Dumbledore gave a great sniff as he took a golden watch from his pocket and examined it. It was a very odd watch. It had twelve hands but no numbers; instead, little planets were moving around the edge. It must have made sense to Dumbledore, though, because he put it back in his pocket and said, “Hagrid’s late. I suppose it was he who told you I’d be here, by the way?”

(Thanks to the Harry Potter Movie Site for the tip)

Update: I haven’t been buying a lot of Harry Potter stuff lately (though I have a collection of 5 of the 6 “challenges” snowglobes [“Flying Keys” on the way soon, I hope], the Platform 9 3/4 bookends, and a bag of Bertie Botts) but I just bought one of these. I’ll have a detailed description about it when it gets here.
