The German voice of Harry Potter is 11-year-old Tim Schwarzmaier from Munich. He will do the German dubbing of Daniel Radcliffe according to todays “Bild am Sonntag”. J.K. Rowling personally gave her okay for Tim doing the part. Reportedly, the sixth-grader is getting paid 1600 marks (US$ 750) for his work, that has been completed under rigid secrecy – even his parents were not allowed to attend the dubbing. Tim’s contract says, he may not talk about single scenes and the movie in general. “Harry Potter und der Stein der Weisen” will hit the German screens on November 22nd with a lot of theatres showing special screenings scheduled for exactly midnight that day.
