Today’s New York Times has a front page article on the merchandising of the movie and book, entitled Coming Soon: Harry Potter and Hollywood’s Cash Cow. The article includes interviews with marketing people and discusses the slow rollout of merchandise and the change from the (really bad) art to the photographs from the movie and art inspired by the movie.





The Leaky Cauldron is not associated with J.K. Rowling, Warner Bros., or any of the individuals or companies associated with producing and publishing Harry Potter books and films.
