CNet News.com has an interesting article about how technology is now allowing for immediate digitization of “dailies” (a video of that day’s shooting), encryption, and transfer to anywhere in the world where someone needs to see them. According to the article these videos “were once flown on airplanes to studios, run through duplication facilities, and then distributed to executives, backers and people at remote production facilities.”
