A copy of the first edition of JK Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone has fetched more than £9,700 at auction in London.

A cruel pet owner used his owl to cash in on the Harry Potter phenomenon. He offered children the chance to be photographed with the beautiful bird of prey in a shopping mall.
