Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has won the Variety Club’s award for best newcomer. The awards are held by the entertainment industry’s charity for disadvantaged children, and will be broadcast on BBC One on Wednesday evening.

A report from The Sun informs us that there’s an itchy problem on the set of the second Harry Potter movie – nits. A nurse is examining hundreds of “pupils” at the imaginary Hogwarts School for Witchcraft And Wizardry every day amid fears of a big outbreak.
