An early report from Ananova states that “Bloomsbury Publishing has seen its pre-tax profits rise by 62.5% with Harry Potter’s help. But it’s remaining silent over the publication date of JK Rowling’s next book, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.”

Website “This is London” says, “The first Potter novel, The Philosopher’s Stone, which was the hit film, was published five years ago. The fifth, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, is due out shortly but Bloomsbury declined to confirm the rumoured publication date of 11 May.”

From the BBC: “Bloomsbury said it expects continued strong sales growth on the back of the Harry Potter phenomenon, with the next instalment, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, already in the pipeline.”

And lastly, this from Bloomsbury: “Fans of Harry Potter worldwide are looking forward to the next book in the series, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, which will be published by Bloomsbury on a publication date to be announced.”
