iHP has posted an exclusive interview they conducted with “Harry Potter” book illustrator Mary Grandpré.

Goodbye magnifying glass, hello magic wand! If teenagers were previously intrigued by the mystery that books like Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew or The Famous Five offer, they are now more interested in the magical world of Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings. According to major bookstores in Kuala Lumpur, youths today prefer reading stories that deal with magic, fantasy and the supernatural over other topics. Romance novels follow closely behind.
