Local teen goes on magical trip

From the State Journal-Register [Springfield, Illinois] come this article on a 13-year-old Dylan Noble’s trip to a taping of the Oprah Winfrey Show. “Last November, Dylan was the subject of a story in The State Journal-Register’s Voice section a few days before the first movie was released. … In doing their research for the ‘Stars of Harry Potter’ episode of ‘Oprah,’ staffers came across the article about Dylan, according to a spokeswoman for the show. An ‘Oprah’ representative called his parents, Sara and Kenny Noble, to see if it would be possible for Dylan to go to Chicago. The next day, Dylan had a phone interview and was asked to make a short video about his passion for all things Potter to send to the show …”
