IMDB reports that a strike on the PoA film set is very likely; around 90 percent of the construction crew is due to walk out this Friday after voting to strike over a pay row. Quote: “The construction personnel were demanding an eight per cent pay rise – but movie-makers Warner Bros allegedly refused. Now – with some parts of the set only half built – workers will be packing away their tools, which means filming will come to a complete halt until an agreement is reached. One worker on the Leavesden Studios set in Hertfordshire, England, told The Sun, “None of us have had a pay rise since we worked on the first Harry Potter film more than three years ago.”” Thanks to all who sent this link.
