POA IMAX NYC Ticket Sales

We have some great news! The theater is still offering tickets for the June 5 afternoon showing – we’re hoping to buy out the whole theater – and they’re offering them at a discount – although the prices have gone up a little for those who are post-college-graduate-ages.
If you’re paying via PayPal – Tickets are still $10.00 for those who are college students or younger, but tickets for adults are now $13.00. The popcorn/soda combination is still $2.50.

If you’re paying via check or money order – Tickets are 9.50 for a kid/college student ticket, 12.50 for an adult ticket, 2.25 for popcorn+soda. If you want to pay for tickets this way, please send an email to [email protected] with your name and the number of tickets that you’re reserving. Your email will hold your ticket reservation until your payment arrives, and sending an email obligates you to send a check or money order. We do not recommend sending cash. As of today, we’d already sold over 250 tickets – the theater holds 600 people, but we don’t know how quickly we’re going to sell out. So if you want to be sure that you’ll have a seat, order sooner than later.

Melissa and I will be distributing tickets in the 90 minutes before showtime, and closer to the date, we’ll post here to let everyone know exactly where we’ll be. Seats are first-come, first served, based on arrivals at the theater that afternoon.

We still don’t know a definite start time, but we *think* the show will begin at 4:00 pm.
