Prisoner of Azkaban Wins Visual Effects Awards

The Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban film has won two awards from the Visual Effects Society. The third Potter film won in the category of “Outstanding Visual Effects in a Visual Effects Driven Motion Picture” for the Azkaban effects team of Roger Guyett, Tim Burke, Theresa Corrao, and Emma Norton. The second win was for “Outstanding Performance by an Animated Character in a Live Action Motion Picture” for the Hippogriff character Buckbeak, created by the team of Michael Eames, David Lomax, Felix Balbas, and Pablo Grillo.
