Earlier this summer we told you about the incredible fiasco where a reporter from the tabloid “The Sun” attempted to purchase early copies of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince before its release date. There was some sort of gunplay involved, and ultimately the men who attempted to sell the stolen books were arrested. Today, the BBC reports that one of the men involved, Aaron Lambert 20, appeared in court and pleaded guilty to theft and possessing an imitation gun. The defendant however “denies pointing the weapon at the reporter,[and] will face a trial of issue before a judge into whether or not he pointed the gun at the reporter during the stand-off.”
Thanks Peter!
