Jim Dale Nominated for GRAMMY Award

Nominations for the 48th GRAMMY Awards were announced today, and we are pleased to report that Jim Dale has received his fourth nomination, for his recording of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. The nomination is in Category 76, Best Spoken Word Album for Children. Dale’s fellow nominees in this category include Marlo Thomas and Ray Romano. Dale won a GRAMMY in 2000 for his recording of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

“The 48th Annual GRAMMY Awards will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 8, at Staples Center in Los Angeles and once again will be broadcast live in high-definition TV and 5.1 surround sound on CBS from 8 – 11:30 p.m. (ET/PT).”
