Goblet of Fire DVD Sets Guinness World Record

Page from DanRadcliffe.co.uk and Jenna from DanRadcliffe.com let us know that Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire now holds the Guinness World Record as the fastest selling DVD. Previously we reported that the GoF DVD sold over five million copies the first day out here in the US. In the UK, it sold approximately five copies per second when it went on sale in that country. All told, this makes tGoF the fastest selling DVD ever, toping sales of Shrek and Star Wars: The Phantom Menance. There is a new photo of actor Dan Radcliffe (Harry Potter) holding a certificate that accompanies this award, that is to be included in the 2007 edition of the Record book which goes on sale in August.
