Helena Bonham Carter on American Idol Tonight

UPDATE: Well, to our and a great many people’s surprise, the expected and publicized appearance of Dan Radcliffe on the special American Idol fund raiser program tonight did not happen. We are trying to find out more about this and will update with more when we can. However, Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange) did appear in a fun clip set to the Bee Gees classic “Staying Alive,”and we now have video of that here in our galleries , including an iPod friendly version. Enjoy! All proceeds from the program tonight benefit charitable organizations “such as Save the Children, America’s Second Harvest – The Nation’s Food Bank Network, Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Children’s Health Fund, to deliver food, medical care and other assistance programs to children living in some of the most disadvantaged areas” of the U.S. and Africa.
