Trumpeting the tagline “Sleek, Swift, and Exciting,” you can now see some clear new images of the back cover to the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix DVD courtesy of DVDtown.com. These indicate again the special features that are to be included on the DVD when it is released on December 11 (along with the HD ,Blu-Ray and special Box Set gift editions).

Not only are Ron and Herminone on brooms but look closer and you can see Neville, Luna and a little red speck that must be Ginny also on brooms. Hello, the six were never on brooms WB. Sometimes I wonder if they think we are all stupid.
Hah! Someone posted the back cover of the single disc edition on a LiveJournal community a few days ago and I thought it was a joke, since it pretty much looks like they just PhotoShopped Hermione, Ron, Luna and Neville’s heads on members of the Order during the scene when they’re taking Harry away from Privet Drive….but I guess it’s actually real. Shame, since I guarantee 95% of Harry Potter fans are going to look at that and go “wait a minute….”
Oh well, I’m not going to get the single disc version anyway :P
Did you all notice that the Special Edition cover and the normal cover are just photo-shopped (poorly I may add) images from the posters that were hanging at the LA Premiere?

Wow those features sucks immensely. No real making of AT ALL!!! This is officially the worst Potter DVD since COS. Why the hell would they release such a barebone release
This doesn’t make any sense! The back cover of the singe dvd has the trio, Neville and Luna on brooms when really they never do ride them! They ride the thestrals! I really hate when they change things just to make it look more appealing to others! 3/4 of people who are going to buy the dvd are HP book fans! They want the real thing, not some “cooler” broomstick image! There’s more than flying broomsticks to Harry Potter!
Overall, the artwork is great on the rest of the images.

There is no making of and the hidden secret is about harry potter not OOTP so what the hell is this doing here. The only feature is the tonks feature and who the care about the editing. The covers have been unimpressive all throughout the entire series with the exception of SS, because that was traditionally drawn rather than photoshopped. POA had the chance of having a good cover had they used the promotional poster, but instead…meh….
No matter, no matter…things will have changed once the final movies are out. They’ll likely rework the covers to either be traditional or try to match them up to Grand Pre’s artwork…or just make more generic covers but with more…love in it…
