Guy Henry to Play Pius Thicknesse in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Thanks much to TLC reader LunaLovesPudding for emailing us today and letting us know about a new casting for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. During an interview on Sarah Kennedy radio program on BBC 2, actor Guy Henry announced he had landed a part in the final installment of the Harry Potter film series. He said “I’ve done the deal so I’m allowed to say, I’m going to be Pius
Thicknesse! The new Minister of Magic in the final two Harry Potter
films. Very exciting. First day of filming, July 27th!” You can see photos and learn more about Guy Henry here. Readers will recall of course that after the murder of Scrimgeour Pius Thicknesse serves as Minister of Magic under the Imperius curse of Voldemort.
