Video featuring photographer Tim Hailand discussing his One Day in the Life of Daniel Radcliffe photographic book has been posted to the photographer’s YouTube, and contains the first look at the newly released publication. Order Partners report that the four minute video features the photographer speaking about concept for the photographs of Dan Radcliffe (Harry Potter), which came from the classic film Wizard of Oz. The concept, which entails “using both black and white and color images,” captures “real life is black and white, and the highlight of the day is in color… the most creative part of the day.”

The first print run of 5,000 copies may be ordered via Mr. Hailand’s website,, and will be shipped to both US and UK locations this week. As reported previously on Leaky, proceeds from all book sales to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Thanks to!
