Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince a Winner at Teen Choice Awards

At ceremonies held last night in Los Angeles, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was named a winner at the Teen Choice Awards. As noted previously, the film had been nominated as in the "Summer Movie Action Adventure" category, with fans all over the world voting for the sixth Harry Potter film; complete list of winners found here. The Teen Choice Awards will be broadcast tonight at 10:00pm on the Fox television network. While none of the current cast attended the event, photos from the event can be seen here at Just Jared (Rob Pattinson, Cedric from GoF), and here from Getty.

I wonder why none of the cast went to the event! It would help in the "fight" (it’s not a fight, people) with Twilight. .’’

I think most of the cast is filming so it would be hard to attend. Lets see how HBP does at the emmys, good i hope :)
