Another interview with Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) has appeared on the MTV website, in which he mentions the filming of the epilogue scene in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.” Felton suggests that the epilogue will be the final sequence shot, commenting:

Jamie Christopher, the first [assistant director], was always really keen to do that as the final scene, because it’s such a poignant moment for the franchise, that fact that it’s 19 years on, and we get to see what happened to the characters.

The actor goes on to reveal that the epilogue scenes still haven’t been shot, but that all are “extremely excited to do so.” Felton also says that he has been talking about the scene for “ages” with Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) as, in part, they “want to make sure that it’s flattering and we don’t look like 60-year-olds.” The article can be found at this link on the MTV website.

Avatar Imagecghambright says: I can't wait to see this scene!!! It's going to be so emotional and I love they're saving it for last. Avatar ImageGiant Squid says: This scene will be amazing! It is so exciting and sad!Avatar ImageI love my Spectra Specs says: So excited to see this scene!!! But it'll be so sad...'cause it's the last scene we'll ever see in a Harry Potter film :( ...well unless they make Beedle or The Scottish Book into a film XDAvatar Imagehprocks2700 says: I can't waitAvatar ImageeiVega says: Wow. It's like they are setting themselves up. Not all scenes are shot sequentially but they want to save this for last. That will bring the extra emotion of the reality of the franchise ending into the moment. It's going to be so powerful. I really hope they capture this for Special Features Behind-the-Scenes. I remember really enjoying that in other films when you see all the cast and crew hugging each other and saying good-bye. Everything has been leading up to this. How intense!Avatar Imagekiansangel says: i am so glad that they are filming the epilogue with the original cast it wouldn't look right if it wasn't them, can't wait to see the filmsAvatar Imageclever-ravenclaw says: AAAHHH! I totaly cant wait...every post i read gets me more pumped up =)Avatar Imageabandonedboyjon says: smart to do it last.Avatar Imageiampadfoot says: we already knew this! SOME NEW DHMOVIE NEWS PLEASE! absolutely cannot waitAvatar ImageBookNookKara says: I can't wait to see it but at the same time I never want it to come because I'll be so sad that its all over! I'll probably be crying a lot!Avatar ImageNumeroUnoFan says: this scene will mark the end of a great event in my life but will definately mark the end of HP for me. encyclopedia one day and a lot of rereading and rewatching in the future FOREVERAvatar Imagehewy says: Could not agree more with BookNookKara!!! I too wish it could go on and on and on and yes crying is probably on the agenda with lots of tissues on hand. It is going to be an awsome movie! Avatar ImageDrome says: Cute. :)Avatar Imagepottersocks says: i don't want it to end...Avatar ImageBlire Daeriel says: I'm looking forward to seeing how they manage the Epilogue, but at the same time, I have to echo what others have said: I don't want it to end. I am interested in seeing what happens after the last film though. It will mark the end of an era, and who knows what the future will hold.Avatar ImageHermione Elizabeth says: Hope this scene turns out well!Avatar ImageCaramel8Chocolate says: I really want to see it and I'm excited about the last harry potter movie but I'm not sure if I want it to come, because then its all over. Avatar ImageLoveTomRiddle says: YESS and NOOO! Yes, I'm really happy and excited for Deathly Hallows! No, I really don't want the series to end!!!Avatar Imageleigia says: Hopefully the epilogue will be something to be remembered, not mocked as how terrible the actors looked when purposely aged.Avatar Imagerosepug says: They don't want to look like they're 60-year-olds? Well I should hope not! The epilogue would put them in their 30s, which may seem ancient and almost like 60 to Tom, but I hope the film-makers have a better grasp of ages and aging than that. Geez. (Can you tell I'm ... a bit ... older than Tom? And perhaps a tad sensitive?)Avatar ImageLunaLuver says: I'm so excited to see the epilogue scene, I know its going to my favorite. But like everyone else I dont want it to end! I'm going to be crying my eyes out during this. Plus its wonderful Tom and everyone are getting to do it, it wouldnt have been right uesing other actors. They have all earned the right to film the epilogue and have it wrap up what thye've been doing for the past ten years.Avatar ImageBoyWithALightningScar says: Saving the last for the very last. Very nice! It's going to be an odd scene, but I'm sure they'll do a great job at aging the actors up. Avatar Imagekatherine102678 says: The epilogue scene should be interesting, especially since they are going to have the same people doing it, instead of casting new people to portray Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Draco 19 years into the future.Avatar Imagemissdelbridge says: I love that they are saving it for last! Can't wait to see it :D:DAvatar ImageMiroca says: nhaw... feel like cryin...Avatar Imagenatalia96 says: can't wait !!Avatar ImageScarStruck says: Squeeeeep so exciting!!! It better bet eh last scene of the movie it's the ast scene of out book! LOL.19 years....oh my!!!! I feel loooooooooooooooooooong! LOL. =]Avatar ImageAll Was Well says: Wow, that will be emotional...Avatar ImageBech7Raven says: I simply can't wait to see that scene! It's gonna be so amazing and touching. I'm really looking forward to see the actors 19 years older, it's gonna be so cool :DAvatar ImageWant to be a Weasley says: This is the part I am so excited to see, I loved it in the book, it just summed it all up for me!Avatar Imagecheeserpleaser says: How appropriate it is that they would close the process of filming these movies, a process that has lasted for so long and has constituted such a part of so many lives for so long, with the closing scene of the novels. Although the idea of the process of filming coming to an end is certainly a disheartening and sad one, it is inevitable and necessary. Despite the fact that I am tempted to shed tears presently just at the thought, I must accept that the films, like the books, must finish.Avatar ImageMikeMagpuyo says: Wow. Great actors, they will go on to do monumental stuff. I will cry, though. That's a promise.Avatar Imageele0206 says: FLATTERING. exactely what I wanted to hear... I so want these last movies to be PERFECT in every kind of way. Do you? add me ;)Avatar Imageemylee94 says: I'm soo excited!I can't wait! Yet, I don't want this legacy to end! I'll be looking forward to this.. Hopefully they will still use them for this scene.. I don't want them to use a substitute actor.. This is an emotional scene for all the HP fan..Avatar ImageFleur-de- Lily says: I can’t waitAvatar ImageSwedish Plimpy says: Gosh, I can't wait for the movie! >___< But at the same time I don't want it to end... :(Avatar ImageRin68nyr says: I can't wait...I wish it would never end!!!Avatar ImageMoose_Starr says: Me too, I am so excited for the movies but, at the same time it is going to be so weird (and, that is an understatement). It must be so weird, too for the actors because this has been their life for so long. The DVD extra features will likely require a lot of tissues, especially if they film something like *the making of DH* documentary at the time of filming the final scenes. I guess alot of the cast and crew will be emotional about The End Of All Things ...Avatar ImageIrishCat says: Tom states later in the interview that Jason Isaacs is a good model for Felton's older character because Isaacs is a good looking man (he should have left it there but he added): "FOR HIS AGE".... that is NOT very complimentary! In fact it is insulting because Jason Isaacs is a very attractive man no matter what his age ... Tom should only hope that he would be half that handsome SOME DAY! I do however agree that shooting the "Epilogue" as the final scene will be tear-jerking and a very fitting farewell to the franchise. I am of two minds ... I want to see the end realized on screen ... but it will be very sad too!Avatar ImageFifi says: I really hope that they actually do look like 30-something-year-old adults, not like them playing with a lot of make-up.Avatar Imageharrypotterfreak101 says: The movie is going to be awesome! I just wish the movies wouldn't end nor the series! However I cannot wait till to watch them all when they are old!Avatar ImageLady Herdermort says: I interested to see exactly how different they'll look in the epilogue. Does that mean that they'll be aging up Ginny, Ron, and Hermione as well? And they'll cast an Astoria? Avatar Imagealicia00 says: I WOULS BE CRYING IF I WAS HIMAvatar Imagebettb says: It's very funny how these kids seem to think that being aged to their mid-30s will make them look ANCIENT! Gotta laugh.Avatar ImagetheREALGinnyWeasley says: im gonna cry SOOO hard during this scene!!! i dont want it to end!!! <3Avatar Imagedoublecore says: The final scene will bring an end to a wonderful and exciting chapter in all of our lives. This series has brought alot of joy to everyone who enjoys the world of Harry Potter. My family is going to Florida this year to see the Harry Potter world up close. Now thats the way to end it. See you all there :)Avatar Imagebellaohbella says: cant waitAvatar ImageFresca says: Tom and Dan would really have alor of trouble looking 60 year olds. They are far too flexible for that!Avatar ImageMischief.Managed says: I will probably cry at this part of the movie. It's going to be so bittersweet, knowing it's the last movie...Avatar Imageharrygetsme says: it's all so sad and exciting at the same time.Avatar ImageToNkS_rip says: cool, cant wait 2 c the whole movie. and <3 tom, btwAvatar Imagehrhgnl says: I can't wait to see what the epilogue will look like with everyone 19 years older.Avatar ImageHermonie says: I was hoping they wouldn't forget the Epilogue but worried that they might. I am so excited for the movie and can not wait to see it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Avatar Imagehermione198k says: I'm really eager to see the epilogue scene. Of course, it'll be bittersweet, it'll be the last scene of the Harry Potter movies.Avatar ImageGinnyPotter811 says: So sad that it's going to be over but I can't wait to see who they cast as the kids!Avatar Imagesamarah 18 says: I want to see this scene, but at the same time I don't want it to end.Avatar ImageLoonyMaddie3 says: Im so excited for the movie to come out!Avatar Imagemuggle..andproudofit says: I'm so happy they'er putting in the epilogue,i was so worryed that they wouldn't ... I'm so gonna cry ....(breaks in to sobs)Avatar ImageScarStruck says: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
