Harry Potter actor Tom Felton updated his Twitter account this evening with a short post regarding some “new skills” he picked up while preparing for the long anticipated aging transformation he will be experiencing for the Epilogue scene for “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.” The tweet reads:

“i learnt some new skills at work today…i had my first lesson in being 19 years on (not such a spring in my step for this scene)”

The scene, found at the very end of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows novel, features the now married couples of Harry and Ginny, Ron and Hermione, and Draco and his wife sending their respective children off on the Hogwarts Express for another school year. At last report, filming for the final Harry Potter film was set to be completed in June, with the Epilogue sequence being among the very last scenes filmed.

Can't wait to see it, and I hope they put teddy in it, I always liked him.Avatar ImageLunaLuver says: OMG! The ending is getter here so fast, only a month left and everything will be filmed. I hope the Epilogue is done right word per word, there really is no sense in leaving anything out.Avatar Imageazaadpotter says: Oh good. Cant wait to see how the epilogue is filmed. Hope they dont mess it up. I wonder how they all look after 19 years. Im looking forward for harry and hermione the most. At the same time its very sad that its ending now. hope they make a seperate dvd for behind the scenes or something like that.Avatar ImageFilmGirl27 says: I can't wait to see what they all look like! Especially Harry, Ron and Hermione. :) *BUT IT CAN'T END!*Avatar Imagecha_granger says: I get curious to see how they all will look like. All of them; Harry, Ron, Hermione and Draco. Can't wait to see the movie. Still... I don't want it ends.Avatar Imageblessi says: June, wow!, it's my birthday. I can't wait to see?. I just want to ask, when do they release the trailerAvatar ImageToNkS_rip says: june already??? why does it have to end so soon???Avatar ImageLove is the greatest magic says: I'm really glad they are including Draco in the epilogue. Oh I can't wait to see what they look like. Avatar ImageCatherine says: it sounds amazing and fun!Avatar ImageFleur-de- Lily says: The end is nigh…. I hope it’s a good one. Avatar Imagekatherine102678 says: It will definitely be interesting to see how they "age" Tom, Dan, Emma, Bonnie, and Rupert. Also, they have been keeping it under wraps really well who they are going to cast to play the children of Harry, Ron, Ginny, Hermione, and Draco. Should be interesting to find out who they cast.Avatar Imagewhyalltheglitter says: I am so excited and sad about this post, seeing that they are almost done filming, but I really want to see the movie, I just wish there were more books.Avatar Image1feltonfan says: grrr!!! so frustrated!!! i hate that the seventh movie is in two parts! it frustrates me greatly :(Avatar ImageJeannine says: The kids(?) are only 36/37 years old when they return to the school with their kids to see them start thier own educations there...hardly old people as is being emplyed...but so glad to hear they ARE filming this...The films would just not be right without these scenes in them and there closing of the story...for now...wink....I think these scenes will be very sad ..and emotional for some of us in the audiance ...indeed.Avatar Imagejaiboi2 says: altho i think they will stick to the book for the most part of the film, i think that some things will be added for example the burning of the quiditch pitch was in the trailer that was shown in vegas. i think they will add scenes that are not in th book for a more epic and finale movie. i only hope that nothing is cut from the book. but im not sure that helena ravenclaw or headless nick is in there as they are not in th cast list. Avatar ImageSashaSabrina says: Eeek I'm so excited to see it! Can't wait to see how they look. Another scene I hope they do almost word for word is The Prince's Tale, I'll be so gutted if they miss out really good memories :( Avatar ImageSashaSabrina says: And oomggg 202 days til the first part comes out! :DAvatar Imagesueml says: "Not such a spring in my step"?! C'mon Tom - like Jeannine said - you're only supposed to be about 36 or 37 at this point. I so hope they don't overdo the age thing. Look at older actors and actresses - Halle Berry, Demi Moore, Hugh Jackman, George Cllooney - all of them over 40 and not bad! Gosh - even Meryl Streep - she's 61 - you can't tell me she doesn't have a spring in her step! I'm tired of people talking about how they are going to have to look so old. You don't look so much different in your 30's - just more mature. Plus, most of the people I know in their 40s are super active - marathons, triathalons, etc. I feel sorry for Tom if he really no longer has a spring in his step when he truly reaches 37!Avatar ImageSmitch says: I can't wait to see that scene. I have such a clear picture in my mind of what it is, though, so I hope it doesn't conflict too much with what I have pictured. I'm certainly not complaining, though! Haha. Avatar ImageLittle Light says: It better be epic. They promised!Avatar ImageAvanelleWood says: Can't wait to see what Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, and Draco will look like. But I dread the end. Sigh...Avatar ImageNumeroUnoFan says: so sad it will be over but you gotta love that we are almost there after all these yearsAvatar ImageTotal-Eclipse014 says: Im glad there just ageing them instead of getting older actors, it just wouldn't be the same. I cant wait for the movie. It'll be sad though, just because the films are over, doesn't mean harry potter is. at least for me. Avatar ImageBewareoftheNargles says: OMG OMG OMG I so agree... bittersweet it will be. I'm sure they'll look great. I want it to be exactly how it was in the book, no cheesy movie stuff, just that moment. how I felt when I finished reading... Avatar ImagecrazyforSeverus says: I hope they do a good aging job or I might burst out laughing in theatres. Can't wait regardless!Avatar Imagenwrosey says: Will Harry still have glasses?Avatar ImageDiamondWings says: OMG!!! I'll Cry in June and July!!! *Oh*Gosh*Avatar ImageHagrid 713 says: so bittersweet - can't wait but then it's over.....Avatar ImageGiant Squid says: Please DON'T end!Avatar ImageJessSnape says: I really think the epilogue could be made into a book all on it's own. I want to know more about the Trio... as well as what happened immediately after the fall of Voldemort!! JKR really has me wanting more:/Avatar ImageFresca says: I am glad that they are using the epilogue material. it is nice to know that Harry is all right at the end, after all his trials.Avatar Imageharrypotterfreak101 says: That's great and everything, but seriously do not want the movies to end. The books have been completed and everything seemed so bleak then. The only thing we had to survive for was the movies and now they're coming to and end also......Avatar Imagejhangelgurl says: aw its coming so soon! so so sad. Avatar ImageAlice Weasley says: I too am excited to see what Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Draco look like 19 years later. I'm glad they decided to age the original actors instead of hiring older actors!Avatar ImageTheRebekinator says: I cant wait !Avatar ImageButterMeer says: Nigh, is the end. Avatar Imagebardot11 says: It'll be so sad when all the movies are done!!!!!Avatar Imagebardot11 says: It'll be so sad when all the movies are done!!!!!Avatar ImagePollytomat says: That scene should be amazing! I mean we (fans, creators, actors etc) made all this long way to see the end, to see how the trio, Draco, their children will live after all that happened, how they will look like. This should be done very attentively, according to the book, no additions from directors or producers, just like Jo imagined it, just like she wrote. We will all remember this particular scene from the films and I hope it will be the best one! Avatar ImageScarStruck says: Omg!!!!! =OAvatar Imagehewy says: Well, 36 or 37 is not middle age and most certainly is not OLD age so making them just a little more mature than they already are would do the trick. Also, the dialogue had better be verbatim from the book! They have messed with enough original dialogue and canon from the books. Sad to think the end of the movies is only a year away. Sigh..........Avatar Imageforgetmenot_007 says: I wonder how they're all going to look like...19 years, not a short time, after all.Avatar ImageWant to be a Weasley says: This is the part I am probably most excited to see, although not quite ready for it to end either :-) Avatar ImageNot Slytherin says: Love this guy!Avatar Imageshbz says: I can't wait to see the kids, I wonder if they will look like I think they willAvatar Imagecheeserpleaser says: The fact that we are rapidly approaching the end of filming on this fantastic series does nothing but fill my heart with such wistful nostalgia for the many memories of following the production of the films! I wish them the best of luck with the remainder of the production.
