For May’s contest, we’re asking you be a pen pal to a Hogwarts student and write a 500 word letter about your experiences as a student of another wizarding school. As always points will be given for creativity, content, and cannon correctness. Be sure to include the name of your school, it’s general location, and the name of the Hogwarts student you are writing to. Your submission must be e-mailed to [email protected] by 11:59 pm (EDT) on May 31st, with “Pen Pal” in the subject line of the e-mail. Please copy-paste your Letter into the body of the e-mail and include a name to be used for authorship. You may use your real name or your Leaky Lounge name.
First place winners will receive a handcrafted wand (design changes each month) and a copy of the book The Practitioners Guide to Wand Magic by William C. Wilson, both donated by Wizard Wood Wands, as well as 200 MyLeaky points. Second, third, and honorable mention(s) will receive 150, 100, and 50 MyLeaky points respectively.
You can read more about the contest here.
Best of luck!

Avatar ImageLunaLuver says: This sounds really fun, and different. I may give it a go. :)Avatar Imagehorcruxhunter7 says: This sounds cool! Avatar Imagemoglet says: That would be canon correctness wouldn't it? We're not into artillery here! Sounds like a good contest, I look forward to reading the eventual winners.Avatar ImageFleur-de- Lily says: This sounds cool!Avatar ImageWeenyOwl says: @moglet, good catch! I always have a laugh when people substitute 'cannon' for 'canon.' We all know that wizards and witches don't need gunpowder to create loud noises, smokes and explosions.Avatar ImageWON_TWO says: HAH! methinks Witch Wendy will be using cannon before too long! lool.... :+DAvatar Imagewandmastercalum says: Might enter this time. I keep forgetting too :DAvatar Imagelovelle says: Awesome concept! hmmm... *thinking*Avatar Imagesongbird says: You are artillery, please. (we're sorry that mistake slipped by all of us) We also ask that you not send any cursed items with your entry, such as hats, necklaces, etc. Thank you, Songbird -Contest Staff Member
