Emma Watson will be featured on the February 2013 issue of Marie Claire UK. This issue became available to purchase on Thursday, January 3. Photos of Emma Watson from the magazine can be seen here. (The cover may be see below). Marie Claire UK reports:

Looking fierce on the cover of our February issue,Emma Watson spoke to us about OCD, newfound confidence and growing up in the media spotlight.

Read the FULL interview with Emma Watson in our February issue, which hits newsstands Thursday 3 January.

The actress, who incidentally is probably the most polite star we’ve ever met, revealed that she’s only recently found the confidence to ignore negative comments from the outside world.

Emma told us: ‘Now I feel a lot more settled in who I am and what I think and how I want to do things. And because I feel good about what I’m doing, I don’t need anyone else to say whether they think it’s good or not.’

The 22-year-old, who found international fame playing Hermione in Harry Potter, opened up to us about what she really finds important in life. ‘ Friends and family come first and work comes second; that’s just how I live my life,’ she told us.

In between her impressive movie career (she has three films coming out this year alone) and being the face of both Burberry and Lancome, Emma has managed to fit in a degree in literature at Brown University.

The actress credits her impressive work ethic to her parents (both lawyers) and a mild streak of OCD. ‘I’m a bit OCD about perfectionism. I’m my own worst critic. I think that’s really hard but it also spurs me on.’

Avatar Imagegryffindor27 says: I think it is really great that Emma Watson has found so much success after Harry Potter and is not being defined by her role on Harry Potter as Hermione Granger. I also think that it is really inspiring that even with her busy schedule of making films and being the face of Lancôme and Burberry, she still managed to find time to further her education at such a prestigious school like Brown University, which makes her a great role model. Avatar ImageWON_TWO says: Emma has def moved on... On an interesting, albeit amusing sidenote... Emma was just detained at an airport by US Homeland Security agents suspected of being a minor traveling without an adult escort! REALLY??? Come on guys... the gal is in her 20's! Geeze! Avatar ImageG.Weasley says: All I can say is that I look up to her when it comes to doing work. She's doing so much (as stated in the article) yet she still has time to go to University. If I ever start complaining that I have too much work, I'll think of Emma and I'll think to myself everything that she's doing and then I'll probably go "so what's your excuse."
