Bonnie Wright has commented on J. K. Rowling’s recent revelation that she regrets pairing Ron and Hermione together, and that Hermione may have been better suited with Harry:
Interestingly, Bonnie Wright, who played Ginny in the films, thinks her character would have coped. “Ginny is a tough cookie so she’d have been fine’ she assured me at InStyle’s Bafta party at Dartmouth House. “She dated Dean Thomas before Harry, after all.” Wright says she understands how Rowling could have changed her mind over time.
