Pottermore’s New Timeline and Site Updates!

Pottermore has been undergoing a major site update, and making changes to enhance the Pottermore experience. They began the upgrade this last April, when they addressed FAQs on their future JK Rowling-approved plans for the site. These can be read here. Today Pottermore tweeted about their first major addition to the site. Reading new writings from JK Rowling just because a whole lot easier with the Pottermore Time Line of the Wizarding World. This new timeline, accessible after uses have logged into their Pottermore account, lists famous witches and wizards in chronological order based on when they lived in wizarding history. Users will recognize common names–such as Salazar Slytherin, Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena  Ravenclaw, and Merlin–as well as many less familiar names. All witches and wizards listed come with a sentence or two of new writings from JK Rowling, and many names listed have more content that has been posted on Pottermore. This timeline makes it easy to go back and read new content users may have missed as they journey through the Harry Potter books.
