Today, Evanna Lynch celebrates her 24th birthday! In the last year, Evanna has stepped far beyond her role as Luna Lovegood, though she will always be the face we imagine when we read of Luna’s character. In addition to moving on to new Post-Potter projects and independent films, Evanna has also taken time to reach out and stand up for causes she cares about.

She is generous, sweet and kind, and also hilarious (follow her on Twitter)–having given us a few of our favorite J.K. Rowling tweets. J.K. Rowling beat us to the punch today in wishing Evanna a very happy birthday.
