America has invaded Britain. Filming for the first installment of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is beginning to draw to a close in Liverpool. There, the set used to recreate 1920’s New York was St. George’s Hall. Recent pictures from the set show an American flag hanging for the balcony of the hall, and classic 1920’s American cars (complete with American license plates) were delivered to the set.

According to Liverpool news website, Echo, about 530 actors, extras, and crew were present for the filming. They posted a gallery of pictures to their website, giving a little insight to the very closed and sealed doors of the happenings on the Fantastic Beasts set. There is “snow” on the steps of St. George’s Hall, so we do know that this scene is in the winter…perhaps around a holiday?

A couple pictures can be seen below. For more, see the Echo gallery. (Click to enlarge images)
