A new trailer has been released for Rupert Grint’s new movie, Moonwalkers. This trailer is different than the Japanese trailer, showing new scenes in addition to being in English. The film has been screened at film festivals in France, Japan, South Korea and the USA. According to IMDB, the will be hitting the theaters in January 2016 for France and the USA, as well as this Saturday, November 14th, in Japan.

Indiewire reported on the film, saying:

Hollywood really likes making movies about and or related to Stanley Kubrick. There’s “Color Me Kubrick” with John Malkovich, it feels like every year there’s some Kubrick-related script on the Black List, and this year we have “Moonwalkers” which is about that conspiracy theory that Apollo 11 never actually happened and in reality, Stanley Kubrick, secretly shot the famous images of the moon landing in a studio, working for the U.S. administration.

Set in swinging sixties London, it focuses on a stubborn CIA agent (Ron Perlman a.k.a. “Hellboy“) who can’t find Kubrick but instead is forced to team up with the lousy manager of a seedy rock band (Rupert Grint) to develop the biggest con of all time: staging the moon landing. The film made its world premiere earlier this year at the 2015 SXSW where is was described as a “riotous, high-tempo action-comedy.”

The two leading men, Rupert Grint and Ron Perlman (who will also be starring in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them), can be seen in the trailer below.
