UPDATE: It has now been confirmed by a source who works on the film that the still of Emma Watson as Belle in the bookshop is the first real photo to give us a sneak peek at Emma’s role in the film. The source said that the ballgown picture is not from the film. Whoever made the photo is incredibly talented, but the photo was not created by anyone from the movie.

THIS IS THE OFFICIAL FIRST LOOK AT BELLE: It has been confirmed that this first official picture is from the “Something There” song–this photo is a still of Belle in the palace’s library!

Two new photos of Emma Watson in Disney’s live-action Beauty and the Beast have been leaked online. One is a still of Emma and Dan Stevens from the iconic “Tale as Old as Time” dance scene. The other is a still of Emma Watson as bookworm Hermione Belle.

Belle’s ginormous yellow ball gown looks to have taken a more simple-yet-elegant shape for Emma Watson’s live-action adaption of Belle. “With her nose stuck in a book,” there’s no doubt she fits the role of this beautiful, but more importantly, bookish and intelligent, Disney Princess. These photos come shortly after a few other stills from the film were accidentally released, showing side-by-side comparisons of animated and the new Lumiere (Ewan McGregor) and Cogsworth (Ian McKellen), a first look at Dan Stevens as the Prince (Beast), and a scene still of Gaston’s song.

Shortly after these photos were released, a behind-the-scenes look at Emma and Dan’s script readings for the film was released.

Emma Watson unveiled the first movie poster on her social media last month. The first sneak peek trailer premiered on the Today Show in May. Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, also stars Harry Potter’s Emma Thompson (Mrs. Potts),Ewan McGregor (Lumiere) and Ian McKellen (Cogsworth), Kevin Kline (Maurice), Stanley Tucci (Cadenza) and Luke Evans (Gaston). Beauty and the Beast hits theaters March 17, 2017.
